Best Mexican food in the area! The food was really good and the service was awesome. I got the Jalisco burrito. Will definitely be back!

Nice local option for Mexican comfort food. I miss Mexican often since I lived over 20 years in CA, a lot in the central valley. As a local resident, this is one of the better options. I'm also vegetarian and appreciate all the vegetarian options. Always nice friendly service, plenty of parking and seating. Diverse menu. Had a combination and it hit the spot. Value is OK.

Plenty of parking at this American Mexican restaurant. The inside is clean and has plenty of table seating. The margaritas are excellent. The service is ok, the staff is friendly, not overly attentive. The food is ok, my meal came out in good time and the food was fresh, nonetheless, it's typical American Mexican. There is handicap and assisted mobility access.

We enjoyed our first visit to this attractive and friendly restaurant, decorated for Christmas. First, free chips and spicy salsa. I ordered the carne asada, a generous portion of steak perfectly cooked medium rare as requested. Mom had the soft corn tacos platter (3) with vegetarian fillings. Rice and beans with both, of course. The flan was an excellent, homemade custard - the best I've had anywhere! Happy hour Sangria and horchata for drinks. This was a very rewarding and tasty meal. Accessible parking. Loved it!

My waitress Karie (Spl) was very fast with my order and delivered with a smile. I had A beef chimichanga which was out of this world. The hot sauce was perfect. I need to find this brand at the store.

As a Mexican from California now living in Virginia, finding food that reminds me of home has been rare, but Del Rio hits the spot every single time. My partner and his family first introduced me to this place back in 2020, and it’s been a favorite ever since. The flavors bring a nostalgic warmth I didn’t expect to find here. The chips and salsa are out of this world (truly the best salsa I’ve ever had), and their lunch buffet is perfect when you’re feeling extra hungry. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, comforting, and made with care. Beyond the food, the staff is always kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. There’s a real sense of dedication here, and you can tell they put love into what they do. Big shoutout to Del Rio for not only serving great Tex-Mex but also giving me that “taste of home” feeling I didn’t realize I’d been missing. If you’re looking for authentic flavor and a warm dining experience, this is the spot!

The service at Del Rio was excellent. My waiter was fast, courteous, and attentive without being overbearing. I ate my enchiladas Espinaca, which were outstanding, out on the patio, which was cool and breezy. I would definitely recommend eating here.
